This semester we are piloting a new and exciting online course review project in partnership with the Georgia Virtual School. This is an authentic, field-based, online learning experience that should prove to be very valuable and enlightening. Your grade for the project will be based on completing specific readings, discussions, review instruments, virtual meetings, and other requirements as outlined in CourseDen.

Phase 1: get your course assignment; download the review instrument; re-read the QM6-12 Rubric; thoroughly explore the course assigned for review; complete and post individual course review to course review page; schedule group meeting time for Phase 2

Phase 2: learn to use all features of Wimba Live Classroom; meet with group members to complete a master QM6-12 Rubric (in GoogleDocs); re-score the quantitative values to reflect group consensus; compile the qualitative commentary to give GAVS as much detail as possible; archive the meeting session Phase 3: work with group members to create an audiovisual presentation that provides the development specialists with targeted feedback on the course under review; the presentation is a complement to the formal review documents completed in Phase 1 and Phase 2
